About the workplace

Himmelstalundsvägen is within walking distance from the train station in Kattarp. The residence is aimed at individuals with mental disabilities within social psychiatry. There is room for twelve tenants with access to shared spaces and a garden.

Job responsibilities

As a support educator, you participate in the daily work at the unit. In your role, you should be able to support and inspire other employees in the pedagogical development of the unit. We work with individually adapted support for daily living, and the work with tenants is guided by their individual implementation plans. We work recovery-oriented with the individual's needs in focus and based on evidence-based methods such as ESL, CM, and MI.

The work is planned, documented, and developed as needed. As a support educator, you have an important role in ensuring the work with implementation plans and other documentation.

Part of the job involves having a good overview and being a support to the contact person by ensuring that established, decisive, and purposeful routines are documented, followed, and updated. Together with other employees, you work to create and maintain good relationships with relatives, guardians, and other networks.

Qualifications

To proceed in the recruitment process, you need to

• in addition to basic education, have a post-secondary education, qualified vocational training, university college, or university education with specialization in the disability field equivalent to 200 YH points or 60 university credits
• have knowledge and experience in clarifying work methodology as well as development and improvement work according to the intentions of the LSS legislation
• have basic computer skills and documentation experience
• be able to express yourself well in Swedish both orally and in writing
• have a B driver's license

It is advantageous if you have experience with ESL, CM, and MI, as well as previous experience working with the target group.
